In this webinar hosted by Oxford University Press, Bree discusses her journey in building a holistic and inspirational approach to teaching students about the complex and rapidly changing environmental and ecological challenges facing our planet. Inspired to develop a new course and textbook specific to the emerging and interdisciplinary field of Global Change Biology, Bree shares how she has created a relevant and optimistic dialogue which draws students into the center of the solutions to these challenges. Bree also discusses practical, proven strategies for accomplishing this in the classroom, even during periods of remote learning. The strategies and frameworks presented are relevant not only for Global Change Biology instructors, but also for anyone interested in sharing an engaged narrative about the future of biological diversity on planet Earth.
