Message from Clint : HUGE 3D Community Render Challenge with INSANE PRIZES!!
Approaching this project two things sprung to mind.
- Thank god there is already a character. I have never spend time learning character animation and happy to keep it that way.
(That is the only reason I went with the same character as the Kitbash Challenge: Final Sale)
- The character is pulling / carrying / slowed down by something.
Well, being within the current Covid situation and life in general, we all feel that sometimes.
Everybody has their own bag of "problems, history, feelings and opinions", does not matter what year / place / gender / race etc. etc.
The only thing we do, is being human. We tent to hold on to our own emotional baggage for dear life. Like we want it to be part of us...
But what if this is not us....what if this is already there....watching us....
**Update, (Un)fortunately I had some great commissions coming my way that have been filling up the agenda. Had to settle with what I had so far. My challenge was to keep everything within C4D and Octane. All effects, all techniques combined in one piece, telling the story mentioned above. Let's say I'm half way with the second layer of effects. Missing most of the VDB's, Post Light Effects, Foliage Simulation, Smallest Details, and some other Finetuning. And the Post Production smiley But had fun working on it and watch the community jumping on this challenge. Last number I heard was already + 700 submissions. Great stuff. Fun to be part of.
