In this video I share 3 tips to improve your intermittent fasting results.

I've been using intermittent fasting to stay in great shape at 40 years of age and I want to share what's worked for me.

Intermittent Fasting Tip #1: Make sure you're very well hydrated

During the fasting window your body is detoxifying itself and in order to flush out those toxins, you'll need to be hydrated.

Drink at least 2 cups of water every hour on the hour.

Intermittent Fasting Tip #2: Add minerals to your diet

During your fast you're not consuming any minerals so it's important to add them to your first cup of water.

One simple way to add minerals and electrolytes to your diet is to add some Pink Himalayan Sea Salt to your first cup of water.

One important mineral is Potassium.

When you consume food, Potassium is responsible for converting glucose into glycogen to be stored in the liver so your body is able to use that energy in between meals.

When you have low Potassium, glucose is transported into fat cells instead.

Intermittent Fasting Tip #3: Train in a fasted state

During the fasted state your insulin levels are low so your body is able to access fat stores easily and your human growth hormone levels are high so you'll burn more fat and preserve lean muscle mass.
