This work speculatively fictionalises humanities failed attempt at saving the earth. As the sand falls, the time we had runs out. As a capitalist society we struggle against ourselves, against each other and against nature, and it is leading us towards self-destruction. Unless we collectivise and reach within our communities and begin honouring nature for the powerful force it is, we have no chance. The necessity for this change is now. This work reveals the contorted interrelationship between battling the earth whilst simultaneously relying on it. Time will not reverse, we will not get a second chance. Time will continue to fall either way - will we?
