My research is an exploration and connection to the state of freedom and trust within myself. With the current (and ever present) literal and figurative violence against black bodies in America (and globally) I began to reflect on what my research means in a socio-political context.
I realised that by dreaming (and manifesting those dreams), evaporating all barriers within myself and externally, by freeing myself, I exist and move as an embodied act of resistance.
