Freddy Cole was an ever-shining brilliant light and talent. He was like no other; a classically trained musician, a good friend to all whom he met, a kind and gentle man, a loving and loyal husband, a father and uncle and younger brother to Nat 'King' Cole. I met Freddy through Peter Fish who knew and worked with Freddy for many years, and he and I became fast friends. We lost Freddy on June 27th at the age of 88, but his gift to us all is that his music and distinct voice and style will live on forever. This clip is from an interview that I did with Freddy from an as of yet unfinished film. Thank you Freddy, we will miss you.
