Come and join me on a winter's afternoon at sunset for a short flight around the old water mill at Thurne, Norfolk, UK. This mill was built on the banks of the Norfolk Broads in 1820 by the Millwrights England and Co. to drain the nearby marshes to make usable land for local farmers. It fell into disrepair through breakages in 1936 and it wasn't until 1950 that it was fully restored again. It now stands as a monument to wind technology and is owned and managed by the Wind Energy museum in Thurne.
