This beautiful classic hymn written by Frederic Weatherly and set to music by Stephen Adams about 1892 draws our thoughts to Jerusalem where Jesus walked and talked, taught and healed, and then was crucified for our sins and rose again the third day. It ends with a picture of amazing beauty, talking of the new Jerusalem where God will wipe away all tears. The way is narrow, but the gate is open wide for all who will to come in. There is no need of sun or moon there because Jesus is the light. A great song of hope and praise. Mrs. Myrtle Robinson accompanied Willie on the piano for this recording.
