Artist Statement: This is a short film showing the process and routine of ballet, and some things that a ballerina does to prepare their bodies and express themselves through motion. The clips show a series of movements performed on a daily basis, rituals of a regular ballet class. No matter what, ballerinas will always find themselves back at the barre, striving constantly to reach unattainable perfection that is ballet. The music is "The Whisp Signs" by Winter Aid.
