The alluring sounds of swan songs at Lake Phelps in Pettigrew State Park, Creswell, NC. Lake Phelps is a wintering spot for hundreds of Tundra Swans. In the early morning hours their songs fill the still air in what I can only describe as both haunting and enchanting. Later in the day you can stilll hear them singing, but then you can also see them so it isn't quite such a mystery what that sound is.
