A collaboration with Take On Hate and Arab-American Family Support Center in NYC showcasing young women from their organizations dancing the dabke as protest against the Muslim Ban. We obtained permission from Brooklyn Borough Hall, then filmed and edited a green screen video of the activists' feet performing the dance. The projection which was shown as part of a rally in which young women were invited to share the impact Anti-Muslim bigotry had on their lives, followed by singing and dancing. Located in downtown Brooklyn, the music, gathering, and images drew hundreds of people despite freezing temperatures.
