Documentation of a live projection done in collaboration with Ariana Lee to accompany a music performance by Ravi Shavi. The performance was a part of Asad Raza's Root Sequence, Mother Tongue "Weekend Guest Series" at the Whitney Biennial. We created a forty minute animation that we projected on the walls of the performance space. We then used disco balls and reflective on separate projectors to fragment and manipulate the light and respond to the music. This video shows clips of the performance, how the projections were manipulated, and as well as a selection of the animations we made for the projections.
