KRISTÍNA SMETANOVÁ
Kristína Smetanová is an artist with a broad focus. As a classical pianist, she is completing her doctoral studies at AFAD (Academy of Fine Arts and Design) this year, and she has also expanded her education at TIHMS master classes in the Netherlands. She had solo piano concerts with Capella Istropolitana, Slovak State Philharmonic Košice and AFAD orchestra in the concert hall of Slovak Philharmonic. In 2021, she presented a solo recital at the Viva Musica! festival and Piano Days. She performs in an intimate atmosphere, too, mainly in the piano Devanas Duo together with Júlia Stahl Novosedlíková. Kristína is a composer as well. Within her most important works, she includes Symfónia začarovaných bytostí, Theory of String Quartet, a piano quintet Dorian, Zabudnutá sonáta pre čelo a klavír, 60 prstov…
In addition to classical music, she works as a singer and keyboardist in the Chick2Chick trio, for which she also wrote several songs. She performed with Richard Müller, Katarzia, Tolstoys, Genius Locci and most recently in the band Quatro Emocione, where she plays vocaloid.

VIKTÓRIA MALÁ
Viktória Malá is a graduate of the theatre dance and performance study programme at AFAD (Academy of Fine Arts and Design) in Bratislava. She focuses on various dance styles, but contemporary and modern dance dominate. She is currently a member of Quan movement, Spicylicious and Mondance dance groups.

In the exhibition The Search for Mnémosyné, Rita Koszorús responds to her recent residence in Porto, Portugal, and to the first intensive contact with the ocean. In her abstract painting, she relates to interwar modernism but also to Marcel Proust. She examines our collective memory with an example of her childhood and she deals with melancholy and nostalgia. In ATELIER XIII, she created a spatial installation with see-through elements based on her own collages, when the viewer creates his own composition from the paintings.
