BACKGROUND /
Chinese start-up (and Tesla Rival) CHJ Automotive commission a teaser for the launch of their extended-range electric vehicle – L.I. One in November 2018. Directed by Peter S with VFX by Analog Studio, this VFX + live action brief demanded a soundtrack that mirrored the beauty and craftsmanship on show.
APPROACH /
Our goal was to infuse a sense of wonder and allure in the music, to inspire and intrigue the viewer. Our music weaves a blend of electronic and acoustic instrumentation that reflects the human artistry and state of the art technology behind the brand. The track surges and swells into a myriad of vocals and strings that underpin teasing shots of the vehicle. Lighting effects and artificial intelligence are detailed with intricate precision via the sound design while undulating low frequency sweeps are layered in for cinematic effect.
