Recently discovered unique one-of-one home discs recorded off-air over WNOX-Radio in Knoxville, Tennessee, circa 1947-48. These tantalizing audio fragments include duo Homer Haynes and Jethro Burns spoofing Bing Crosby's version of "The Whiffenpoof Song".
Also heard is WNOX Mid-Day Merry Go Round host Lowell Blanchard advertising a local business while Red Kirk sings, backed by dobro master George "Speedy" Krise, and Archie Campbell (later of "Hee Haw" fame) on guitar.
