Set in a hidden enclave in the shadow of the new Tel Aviv football stadium, the film follows a conversation in which a Palestinian man in his fifties whose family once owned the land tells his story. The listener is the artist, nowadays considered local to this place.

The landscape around the two has continually shifted during the last one hundred years of colonialization. This used to be an orchard on the edge of a marshland, and is now an industrial area of car shops and scrapyards. At its centre is the new stadium and an old Eucalyptus garden that was planted to drain the land. The soundscape is composed of the constant hum of city traffic, machines working and birds singing.

The layers of sound, the telling of the trauma of lost and life with pain, the labour of motors who are manufactured elsewhere but give freedom in this city, are all layered up to think who and how, after 82 years of the regime of settler colonialism is a local and who is a foreigner, and how does it feel to live in the burden of history.
The film observes and listens a space disappearing in Tel Aviv’s urban ecology.
