What's up everyone?
Well the blank/losing fish streak continues.
Not sure what has happened but we are in a funk I think.
We went through to #R50dam and decided to go to the dam all the way to the back right.
We had 4 rods out and fanned them around our spot during the session.

The fishing forecast for this week was low but while we were there there was an increased probability of catching something. According to the apps at least. We also tried out using the compass to show more or less what direction we were casting in.

Now can anyone explain what happened here. Us trained and astute amateurs it seems like we had a fish and either didn’t strike in time or tried to strike with the rod in the rest which is a bad idea.

Very bizarre
We also tried using the line clip this week. We cast out to an area we thought was promising and then clipped up the line so we atleast didn't over-cast to the area. Although given our track record in casting we are not sure that is as much of a concern and we think it is.

We will say that clipping of the line and trying to cast in the same place every time definitely does seem to do something in getting the fish to find the bait. Or it could just be coincidence.
