@marknefrancoispas (Twitter’s favourite Mark Francois Parody account) asked if I’d be interested in creating an animation for one of their Samuel Pepys-esque plague diary entries. These daily posts have satirised UK politics and culture since the beginning of lockdown. I agreed and this was the outcome. I was responsible for all aspects of the visual production and sound editing.
We chose to release the video to coincide with easing of lockdown. To date it’s had nearly 500K views and has been shared by Deborah Meaden, Dermot O’Leary, Gary Lineker, Caitlin Moran, James O’Brien, Milton Jones, Brendan Coyle, Rory Stewart and Jon S. Baird, among others.
