The film follows Rick for 10 years through the haunted forests and swamps of Cape Cod, as he struggles against mental illness while coping with multiple suicides of his closest friends.
Rick strives against alienation and despair, finding meaning in life by constantly exorcizing his demons and phantoms. He photographs himself and models in handmade costumes, reciting his existential poetry in the forest, and scaring the tourists away. Autumnal themes, sacred geometry, nature worship, and a reverence for ethereal feminine forms are composed into each otherworldy piece. 90 mins. Directed by David Silver.
