"Twin Mirrors" is a two-minute scene/short film I created for my weekly assignment in my VCU Cinema film class. The focus of the assignment was to take three still photos or create a scene inspired by Andrei Tarkovsky's film "The Mirror", and the end product had to include all of or some of Tarkovsky's nine principles of his filmmaking methodology. Enjoy!

Those nine principles are:
1. Use of long takes and montage editing combined.
2. Non-linear "time sequencing" going from present to past and back again.
3. Documentary or "actual" footage mixed with "fiction"
4. Significant images that resonate poetically within the event
5. Changes from color film to black and white
6. Speed changes of camera within a scene
7. Voice over use of poetry
8. Crane Moves
9. Chance operations and "magic"
