As a Taiwanese myself, there’s not a lot of different races in our country. Even that I still think there’s racism in Taiwan.
We tend to put different interpretations, stereotypes towards different races. Which maybe we don’t think it is racism, even we might think it’s good for others, but deep down in our mind, we are judging different people by their race.
I used Western and Eastern food. to demonstrate this kind of feeling.
When WESTERN wants to try Taiwanese food, EASTERN quickly takes away the “pig blood cake”. Which in the man’s head he thinks it’s not “suitable” for Western to try. He then moves away everything which in his mind “not meant to be for her”.
Do not discriminate against any food, anyone.
