Promotional trailer for the documentary Not My Enemy. Part documentary, part dance film, Not My Enemy delves into how the Vietnam War impacted African American veterans and the universal need for mental health support for all veterans and their communities. Inspired by the choreographic work and life experiences of Kehinde Ishangi, the film weaves together Ishangi’s choreography with interviews from real-life veterans in addition to a fictional character, an elder veteran who experiences traumatic flashbacks from his time serving in the war.
