An original short film, created in collaboration by Mau Mau Arts Collective and Big Ideas Entertainment: The film seeks to show that women working in the matatu industry deserve respect, equal labour rights as well as safe workplaces. The film also highlights the often unseen social realities that make it hard for women to work in the industry as well as the challenges faced by commuters.
Flone Initiative, Mau Mau Arts Collective and HIVOS Global have collaborated to develop a series of artistic projects that highlight the challenges that women face while accessing and working in the public transport industry.
