Nick Janczak, is a trumpet player who seeks to push the possibilities of using effects pedals to ‘make the trumpet sound utterly different.’ His long term wish is to use sounds to make three-dimensional images in the same way that some visual artists play with space. He has been working as a musician for many years in various bands in the UK and on tour in Europe, including a longer spell spent working/playing in Norway. L.P. Ponor is a visual artist who works with video; sometimes from shot video but mostly digitally drawn images. Together, their aim is to make images and music form a whole, a complete artwork. L.P. Ponor also makes physical works (oil on canvas and objects). She is a graduate of Kingston University, London; the Royal Academy of Arts Copenhagen, and The Royal Academy of Art Stockholm (MA).
