Upscaled from 768x428 to 4K using Topaz Video Enhance AI.
The source was quite badly compressed, thus heavily a denoised upscale using the HQ model was used as a base layer. A undenoised HQ-pass (opacity 30-50%) was used for additional detail, as well as Red Giant Renoiser for the film grain.
The current HQ AI model (v. 1.0.2) works well with shots that have some motion and distinct features like characters, but struggles with stationary and wide shots that have little detail to begin with.
The 5x upscale was also a bit much to ask for considering the source quality, the current HQ model works amazingly well using a good source and 2x scaling factor.
