Made using Cinema 4D R21, FumeFX 5.0.1, Redshift 3.0.17, ACES Color-Space Workflow, and Blackmagic Fusion 16.
I have been wanting to make smoke and fire since I got into 3D design and animation back in 2008 but I never got around to it and my college never taught us. When I found out FumeFX came to Cinema4D I had to try it out and learn, (especially in all the down time of this Corona Virus epidemic). This was made after 4 days of RnD of my own accord learning how to control the plugin, export .vdb's with velocity data for motion blur, increase the quality of the simulation, how the Redshift Volume object/ shader works and how to use the ACES workflow in Fusion.
OCIO ACES doesn't properly work in Cinema 4D, but there is a sort of work around. This will be resolved once Cinema 4D allows users to change the Color-Space Output in the preferences (whenever that will be). I highly recommend Saul Espinosa's Patreon tutorial on the subject as it is 3 hours long and VERY in-depth on the subject. patreon.com/theartofsaul
