Strange Cargo's 2020 Cheriton Light Festival took place on 22nd and 23rd February. This free biennial festival closes Cheriton High Street to traffic to bring extraordinary experiences to this ordinary place. With new artworks commissioned from some of the sectors most talented artists, this unique event occupies the buildings, spaces and everyday locations and involves artist collaborations with residents in fifty local homes; artworks commissioned from thirty plus artists and the participation of hundreds of local people. Many thousands of visitors take to the streets to enjoy the spectacle.
