A sound-alike is a recording intended to imitate the sound of a popular record, the style of a popular recording artist, or a current musical trend; the term also refers to the artists who perform on such recordings. In the voice-over world, it may also refer to those who recreate the voice and vocal mannerisms of a given celebrity's vocal performance.

Some themes are so incredibly popular, they go beyond the film and into pop culture. Such a theme is from the movie, Chariots of Fire, originally written by Vangelis. My goal was to create music that exemplifies the spirit of the piece such that listeners recognize it. For example, when you want to express working hard at something and persevering over difficulties. Obviously, the sound-alike should not mirror the original. More like creating a 'shade' of it, and illusion. I did two version, this is the second one.
