In "Translucent – One Too Many Body", dancer and poet Savyon attempts to stretch and expand the boundaries of physics in order to stretch and expand the appearance of the Self. Between the choreographed and the cinematic, between the virtual and the real, she both celebrates and problematizes her body. Each movement is a small confession, vulnerable and powerful, to reveal some otherness within this self.

Savyon dismantles, documents and duplicates herself through endless loops, circular yet continuously moving forward, to experience a simultaneous presence in different times and/or different places. Thus, perhaps, in a layered reality she will be able to encounter herself…
