So where is this?

This is Nazaré. A coastal town and a municipality in the subregion Oeste and Leiria Districts, in the historical Estremadura province of Portugal.

So why am I here?

In hopes of capturing what has been scientifically recorded to be some of the largest waves in the world. I really wanted to see for myself.

So, I set out on a long train journey from the city of Guimarães, Portugal where I was living at the time, to the central coastal town of Nazaré.

The forthcoming printed publication documents the futile absurdity of vainly, desperately seeking out the miraculous.
