Ham: the good rat is based off of a 3-page comic I wrote and illustrated in the fall of 2018. It was published by my college's newspaper, The Grape (the issue can be found here: issuu.com/theoberlingrape/docs/grape__9-28-18_-pages-deleted).
This piece was made for my final project in CINE313, Rian Brown-Orso's Animation Workshop. I drew little paper characters, which I then cut out and photographed with Dragonframe. I assembled these clips in Adobe Premiere with live-action backgrounds that I filmed in the forest.
