This is a stylized game CG Animation, called GRAY RAVEN： PUNISHING. It took me a bit long time to figure out how to show the idea of energy flowing and being absorbed by that big evil tree in the Sea of consciousness, and it has to be based on a specific pattern. I think it still has a better way to do this FX and improve them, but hope you guys like it. 3D FX only, using Houdini, Nuke.
