The first experiment I did with Blender 2.8 beta new Grease Pencil. It allowed me to essentially add all the detail in this quick render without modelling at all. It is purely drawn onto a basic 3D object made from a combination of basic primitive objects and importing them as OBJ file. Via Wacom tablet and the surface mode in Grease Pencil. As shown I could even do the insides and animate characters inside. Essentially Grease Pencil 2.0 allows you to do 2D work but as 3D. It is no longer trickery of 2.5D but actually 3D rendering of 2D illustration. Maybe we can call it 5D ;¬)
