“This insect was once an average housefly with an affinity for shiny objects. It often roamed around an industrial area where it would feed from the waste of the workers’ portable toilets. One night the fly was attracted by a worker wearing a shiny protective suit. It followed the worker indoors and soon found itself deep within the facility. The fly quickly lost interest in the worker as it was entranced by the flickering lights of the machinery nearby.
This machine was a prototype which was meant to accelerate the process of evolution. The worker noticed the fly and made an attempt to swat it. The fly zipped inside the machine to dodge the worker’s hand. The worker slapped the machine’s activation button and it began to shake violently. The fly had never seen such a bright light in his short life.
The creep emerged from the machine with a hunger for human waste and a thirst for blood. The creep only hunts humans with jewelry and piercings since it enjoys decorating itself with shiny objects.” - @freshlydrowsy
